If you do not see a volunteer opportunity in your zip code, it means we need an Envirocorps Team Leader in your zip code. If you are interested in becoming a Team Leader please contact us and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you would like to fill this volunteer opportunity.

A team leader needs to be a responsible person that can make at least a 12 month commitment to this volunteer opportunity and:

1. Identify all the public accessible lands in their zip code.

2. Recruit an individual volunteer job developer for each identified land who will work with that controlling agency in developing detailed volunteer job descriptions to fulfill various needs.

3. Post these volunteer opportunities (jobs) on the EnviroCorps web site.

4. Help spread the word about these volunteer opportunities in their zip code.

5. Follow up with debriefing, thanking and recognizing each volunteer who successfully completes a job.

6. Team Leaders and Job developers also must be Envirocorps Premium members who pay $25 or more annually to help maintain the system.
